The second chapter of Peru’s Through the Path of Death compilation series arrives as a double CD showcasing four Peruvian extreme metal acts across two discs — each contributing new material, some of it long-awaited. The result is a forty-minute cross-section of Peru’s underground at its most diverse and committed. CD1 opens with Ayarth, whose four tracks of doom/death (Tu Legado, Almas en Pena, Sendas de Fuego, Dama Infernal) establish a heavy, suffocating atmosphere before giving way to Demoniac Slaughter’s four death metal assaults (Ecclesiastical Desecration, Spectral Projection of the Death, Summoning the Disgrace, Buried and Dead). El segundo capítulo de la serie compilatoria peruana Through the Path of Death llega como doble CD presentando a cuatro bandas de metal extremo peruanas en dos discos — cada una aportando material nuevo, algunos esperados durante años. El resultado es un corte transversal de cuarenta minutos del underground peruano en su estado más diverso y comprometido. El CD1 abre con Ayarth, cuyos cuatro temas de doom/death (Tu Legado, Almas en Pena, Sendas de Fuego, Dama Infernal) establecen una atmósfera densa y sofocante antes de ceder el paso a los cuatro golpes death metal de Demoniac Slaughter (Ecclesiastical Desecration, Spectral Projection of the Death, Summoning the Disgrace, Buried and Dead). El CD2 pertenece primero a Mystic Ruins, cuyos seis temas de black metal sinfónico épico (Rey de los Incas, El Grito del Último Caído, Rito del Sol, El Retorno del Amaru, Templo del Sol, Invocación del Sol) beben profundamente de la mitología andina y la iconografía precolombina, antes de que Aneurisma cierre el lanzamiento con tres piezas death/doom (Aneurysm, Círculo de Sangre, Twilight).
