SOOTHSAYER from Quebec city is probably one of the most under rated band in the Quebec / Canadian Metal history. They took the scene by storm with their amazing debut demo (1986) “To be a real terrorist” (which turned a Kult phenomena worldwide!) followed by the band’s proper debut album in 1989… the phenomenal crossover thrash classic “Have a good time” which is finally being re-issued by the band’s label PRC MUSIC worldwide. Sharing the stage with bands such as Nuclear Assault, Sacrifice, DBC, and D.R.I. (to name but a few) made SOOTHSAYER the powerhouse local band to look for in the late 80’s early 90’s. The band’s dark humour and very original song crafting grew on metalheads all over the province and did establish the band as a pillar of the scene. Word of mouth and tape trading did the rest on the international level. PRC is now re-issuing the album with a new vintage looking layout, never seen pics and a spectacular new mastering! Limited to 500 copies.

Tomaron la escena por asalto con su increíble demo debut (1986) “To be a real terrorist” (¡que convirtió un fenómeno de Kult en todo el mundo!) Seguido del álbum debut de la banda en 1989 … el fenomenal clásico crossover de thrash ”Que finalmente está siendo reeditado por el sello PRC MUSIC de la banda en todo el mundo. Compartiendo escenario con bandas como Nuclear Assault, Sacrifice, DBC y D.R.I. (por nombrar solo algunos) hizo de SOOTHSAYER la poderosa banda local a buscar a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90. El humor negro de la banda y la elaboración de canciones muy original crecieron en los metaleros de toda la provincia y establecieron a la banda como un pilar de la escena. El boca a boca y el intercambio de cintas hicieron el resto a nivel internacional. ¡PRC ahora está reeditando el álbum con un nuevo diseño de aspecto vintage, fotos nunca vistas y una nueva masterización espectacular!
