From the desert north of Chile — Iquique, Tarapacá — Severe Punishment have been waging their death metal campaign since 2011, and And Death Spoke to Them stands as their most complete recorded statement. Recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely at Tenebras Records in Iquique, the album is a thoroughly local production in the most underground sense: built in the far north, by a band with nothing to prove to anyone outside their own conviction.
