Influenced by Persian history and mythology, multi-instrumentalist Sina Winter founded From the Vastland in Iran in 2010, performing all instruments and vocals on the first two albums himself. Since relocating to Norway, Sina has assembled a live/session line-up featuring Andre “Tjalve” Kvebek (Den Saakaldte/ ex-1349), Thor “Destructhor” Anders Myhren (Myrkskog/ ex-Morbid Angel), and Vegar “Vyl” Larsen (Keep of Kalessin/Gorgoroth-live). Ancient, epic stories of good and evil, myths and legends collide with atmospheric, blast-beating old school black metal! .
