From San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, Sargorius are a four-piece black metal band with an unusually wide stylistic range — and Darkness Blood & Death, their debut full-length, puts that range on full display across ten tracks and nearly 50 minutes. The band moves fluidly between old-school raw black metal, melodic black metal, ambient passages, and blackened death metal, weaving keyboard textures through the aggression without ever tipping into full symphonic territory. Tracks like Under Black Moon, One Magic Sacrifice for the Eternity, and The Eyes of Lilith showcase the band’s melodic instincts, while Gusanos Cristianos and the title track hit harder and faster in pure underground fashion. Vocalist and guitarist Lord Vladumus anchors the record with a commanding presence, supported by the dense bass of Nashgasth and twin guitar/drum duties split between Frimosth and Arzgurth. Raw, unapologetic, and soaked in that particular South American black metal malice that needs no explanation. A limited underground release for devotees of the genre who value passion over polish.
