Eleven tracks of blackened thrash and old school death metal recorded and mixed by Javi Félez at his cult Moontower Studios in Barcelona — the same man behind the boards for Graveyard, Ataraxy, and Körgull the Exterminator — and the result is a slab of reverb-drenched, ice-cold metal that sounds like it was conjured from a rehearsal space in 1985 and hasn’t been cleaned up since. We Are the Plague, Dynamite the Mosque, Curse the Sun for Rising, Lucifer Say Die, Children of Judas, Burn the Church — the titles alone declare war. The music is equally unrepentant: ripping tempos, throat-shredding vocals, and riffs that worship at the altar of early Sodom, Venom, Motörhead, and the first Death LP, with the blackened viciousness of Aura Noir and Nocturnal Breed woven throughout.
