Exorcist’ is an American black and thrash metal band from New York City, which was founded in 1985. One year later, the band released its only album “Nightmare Theatre”. The band fell apart shortly after. It took some time until somebody found out that the names of singer Damian Rath, guitarist Marc Dorian, bassist Jamie Locke and drummer Geoff Fontaine were made up. The true persons behind these names were the band members of Virgin Steele (David Defeis, Edward Pursino, Joe O’Reilly und Joey Ayvazian)..
